Maureen C. Hall Memorial Scholarship

The foundation is pleased to announce that it accepts annual applications for its Maureen C. Hall Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,500 to be awarded to a Cheshire resident graduating from high school who plans to pursue a bachelor's degree in special education. The scholarship is to honor the memory of Mari's grandmother, Maureen C. Hall, who died on December 16, 2011. Maureen was instrumental in getting Mari early intervention services and is missed dearly by her loved ones.

Applicants will be evaluated based on demonstrated volunteerism to the special needs community throughout his or her high school career, and an articulated sense of purpose and direction for a career in special education.  Applications are accepted throughout the month of April, and the scholarship winner is announced in May.
